Romain Hugault's Aviation Art

I've added a link to the blog of Romain Hugault, a French graphic artist and co-author / illustrator of a series of BD (comic books) under the title of Le Grand Duc.

I first came across these books in a branch of FNAC in Lorient last year while staying with the relatives. The artwork is absolutely stunning and, even though my French is pretty rubbish, I think it's worth getting the series if only for the pictures. The various nightfighter drawings are particularly good.

Anyway, if you are interested in WW2 aviation, especially the Eastern Front and Late War Luftwaffe, they're very good for stirring the imagination and providing a little inspiration.

And nothing at all to do with 1940's pin ups...no, absolutely not (in any way whatsoever)
