Tumbling Dice Victorian Ironclads [1]

I hoped to get half a dozen of the TD ironclads cleaned up and assembled today but, in the end, only managed one, HMS Achilles.

I had to spend quite a lot of time getting the kids set up with their Warhammer stuff and then helping them out with the assembly stage of their space marines, orks and so on. As a result, there wasn't much time to get on with the ships.

Tomorrow the kids will start painting their figures so there will be less for me to do. I hope to get at least six or seven more ironclads rigged up during the day. I may have to scale down my fleets a little as HMS Achilles took a little longer than I expected due to the gel superglue not setting in the heat.

I'll still aim for either one full British squadron or two smaller squadrons for both nations, fully painted up by Friday.
