Hannover CLIIIa Undercoat

With a week to go before activity week kicks off, I've decided to push the Reds to one side and get on with preparing the 1/2400th scale ironclads and building the Hannover CLIIIa for the aerial game on the 20th.

I'll return to the Reds after the dust has settled, so they're very much still on the production line and will get finished before I shoot of to France in a month or so.

The Hannover got a Humbrol Matt Dark Green spray undercoat yesterday and I hope to start cleaning up the parts ready for assembly this evening. I always spray undercoat the components on the sprue as it's an easy way to do it and allows me to see what needs to be scraped or sanded away in the clean up stage.

I haven't built a 1/72nd scale WW1 plane for quite a while so I'm looking forward to it.
