I cut a few more road sections this evening before the garage became too cold. I think I've got enough for a decent table length of roadway but a Y junction would be a useful extra, not to mention a road / river bridge or ford. I also dug out a pack of Peter Pig telegraph poles for the railway line, whenever I get round to it, which shouldn't take too long to assemble, base and paint up.
However, I'm getting side-tracked at the moment by all these extra dimensions to the AK47 project, so need to refocus on the main objective. I really should paint the bases on the various units for the dictatorship army before I shoot off and tackle more boats, landing craft, skidoos or whatever grabs my attention. I have a couple of weeks to get everything sorted before I'm off to France, so I need to get my act together sooner rather than later.
...although I have seen a rather cool 1/144th scale submarine kit?
