AK47 Winter Quarters [4]

Not a lot again this evening as it was a late start and I'm not up for anything major. As a bit of a change, I thought I'd muck around with the railway wagons using some fairly random drybrushing to start them off. The basecoat is a wetbrush of GW Ivandun Darksun, followed by some Foundry Tan for the rust effect and a bit of over drybrushing with Foundry Rawhide light.

I also painted the internal planking with three stages of drybrushed Foundry Spearshaft. The whole lot was then gunge washed. They look a bit pants now but when the underframes are repainted and I've done some more focussed weathering, they might look a bit better. I've also had a crack at painting the railway track trial section that I built a few days ago but the jury is still out on that one for the moment.
