I got some decent painting time in today, as the kids were off at various birthday parties or up the road with their friends from school. I did struggle with the metallics, however, as I'm not used to painting silver and gold shades so had to make it up as I went along. Needless to say, it didn't always go quite as expected so there were a few ammendments along the way. They're not finished yet but I'm getting there.
