I finished reading about WW2 submariners the other day who, I am now convinced, were all completely bonkers. As I fancied a change from the nautically deranged, I thought I'd pick up my copy of Scorched Earth, Black Snow that I bought a while back when. I enjoyed the authors previous book on Korea To The Last Round, and this one is shaping up very well by comparison, although I'm only a couple of chapters in. I'll let you know how it goes...
I used to know a bloke who was a submariner in the 90's, he was completely bonkers. Korean war is always an interesting subject, particularly as its not very "popular" as such.
