Welcome to my blog. I have upwards of 100 projects in various stages of incompletion or total abandonment, so you may well find something of interest if you rummage about a bit. I concentrate on solo air and naval wargaming but other 'skirmishy' things quite often pop up out of nowhere, only to disappear again after something else grabs my attention. I even finish the occasional project now and again!

Fortress Malta
We went to Wells today, which was very interesting but also rather quiet as virtually everything was shut, apart from the ubiquitous coffee shops, chain outlets and cookery utensil emporia. I did visit Waterstones, however, where I bought a copy of Fortress Malta by James Holland. It's an overview of the battle for the island but looks useful, at least as a general read. We're off to do some castles tomorrow, so it might be a little more rewarding from a wargaming and military history point of view.
I read it recently. I thought it was very well researched and written, and extremely sympathetic to the subject. There are done statistics in there which were a major shock to me. I hope you get as much out of it as I did.
