The La5-FN and the Fw189-A2 have now had the blocking in done on the canopies, ready for lining out in black and highlighting with Foundry Sky Blue Light and White. The fighters have also had a wash in GW Nuln Oil and will get a touch up with the base shades before I tackle the exhausts and rest of the markings.
These will conist of a number of cowling bands in red, similar to the picture above, which will be a bit tricky but should look quite colourful. I don't think there's much on this weekend, so I'm hoping to get everything ready by the end of next couple of days, with some decals applied on at least some of the planes by the end of play on Sunday.
