Happy Birthday to Me!

It's my birthday today, so another year closer to retirement, although I still have twenty of them to go if I teach until I'm 68! Anyway, my wife and kids have bought me a very nice coffee maker thing, so that I can stay up even later to do my marking, fuelled by copious quantities of double espresso. It's something I've fancied having for ages and will be tried out later today, once I've worked out how to put the darned thing together!

My sister also bought me a YT-2400 freighter for X-Wing, which is a really cool looking model and very handy for all sorts of scenarios. I have an Amazon token from my dad to spend as well, so I'm thinking of getting a deep space mat of some description, so that I don't have to improvise with the dining room table cloth anymore. A couple more fighters for the rebel alliance may also be added to the order, just to round off the collection.
