I've finished the trees that I started during the week, although I decided not to add any scatter or tufts, so have started to gather together some mdf buildings for the terrain part of the project. I've decided to use a combination of the Sarissa Precision range of kits alongside the Battle Flag range, taking advantage of a good bundle offer from the latter.
This consists of four 'bare bones' unpainted building kits including a saloon, a general store, a bank and a doctor's surgery, although the latter could be any generic type of shop. I've also ordered one of he Sarissa Precison small buildings to see how they match up with the Battle Flag ones in terms of size and style. I think they should match pretty well?
When these arrive next week sometime, I'll start assembling and painting them ready for the next game of Fistful of Lead Reloaded, which I've pencilled in for the end of the month. I'm also hoping to get to Colours next weekend, where I should be able to pick up some more buildings including the all important sheriff's office and jail, together with some scatter stuff like fencing, horse troughs, tie rails and wagons.
