The holidays are coming to an end and I've trawled the newsagents for reference material as usual before we head back home. There's some good stuff here including a couple of magazines that I don't usually collect, GBM and Uniformes, the former covering the use of armour in Indochina between the wars and the latter including a comprehensive guide to the uniforms and equipment of the French army at Verdun. It also has a feature on the camouflage patterned 1947 combat fatigues used in the French-Indochina War, which would be very useful as a guide for painting figures. They really do have some cracking magazines and no shortage of interesting, inspirational reading material even if your French is pretty rusty like mine.
