French Battleships Rebased





I finished re-basing the 1/3000th scale WW2 French capital ships today, so can now move on to the light cruisers, not having the right sized bases for the heavy cruisers just yet. The new bases are 20mm wide rather than 30mm, which is what I had them based on before, and I've matched the paint shades to my new blue sea cloth rather than the horrible dark green of the original bases. The new version isn't amazing but it's a step in the right direction and certainly better than the previous effort.

    That is a very good colour match and the base looks to be in perfect proportion to the vessel.
