Tankfest 2019

We had a fantastic day at Tankfest 2019 yesterday, so here's the photos to give you an idea of what was on display. The tank park was impressive and we also watched some of the tank displays in the afternoon, including a drive past by lots of truly iconic WW2 British armour. The other half was very pleased to find a tank with her name on it, so to speak, but I didn't tell her it was actually a Panther. The lad also enjoyed the re-enactors, who were very well represented and really engaging, so he had a great time. He is really into tanks now, having played various computer games, and actually isn't bad at recognition although he still mixes things up a bit. Anyway, if you can make it down next year it is well worth it, not too expensive and definitely a stonking day out!
