Day of the Rangers

I have lots of time to do some reading, having found out yesterday that I have been laid off, so I decided to start with this. It may even kick start a 15mm project based on my existing Sandbox Skirmish project. I've got the figures, I've got the terrain, I've got the rules...just need some time. Hang on a minute...!

  1. Hello Jim. Horrified to read you've been laid off. I hope everything will work out OK for you; the current situation in the UK is just weird (I imagine it's to do with that), not to mention the compounding effect of Brexit uncertainties. Anyway, please keep blogging and reading. I was thinking there'll be an upsurge in interest in solo wargaming as we're all confined to quarters one way or another, so at least that's something. All the best, WW (Brian).

  2. Hey Jim - awful to hear you've been laid off. Fingers crossed you will find something else soon.

For now though, enjoy the time off and get some games in!

  3. Thanks

It's a supply and demand thing...I'm a supply teacher and there's no demand! It's a bugger as I've been at the same school for four years now and really liked it. There may be a job at the other end of all this...fingers crossed.

  4. That's terrible news Jim, I think a lot of people will be effected by this world wide.

    Cheers

  5. Best wishes Jim. Hopefully, as you say, there will be a job at the end and but more hobby time now. After all, we have to entertain (and educate) the kids!
