Awhile back I posted some photos of my 1/2400th Victorian ironclad collection for a fleet review, at which point a couple of people suggested that I really should have had a royal yacht for Her Imperial Majesty Queen Victoria to steam past on board. Although this was a bit tongue in cheek I actually thought it was quite a nifty idea, so here is Her Majesty's Yacht Osborne, an old Hallmark paddle aviso that I had in the spares box. I think she'll look splendid when painted up and will be useful as a dispatch vessel for scenarios when not transporting royalty.
Not entirely relevant to this post, but tangentially, have you disclosed your patent Sea basing system yet? Interested as I have some miniatures for Guadalcanal on the way...
