Number One Son's Space Marine Squad

The boy has painted up some Crimson Fist space marines for Warhammer 40K and, bearing in mind these are the first 28mm figures that he's painted, I think he's done a pretty amazing job. He's now deciding how to texture and paint the bases, with an urban theme which will finish them off really well. A really cracking effort!

  1. Nice job! Way better than my first figures I can tell you!

  2. Very well done! My first wasn't even close, although I also didn't have a father with the skills who taught me. Must be fun to paint and game together. How old is he? I have a seven years old daughter who starts to feel the urge to try both more advanced games and... painting.

    1. He's eighteen, so more than able to work it out himself, although I have given him some tips. We've played a lot of games as well over the years and he's been dragged round Warfare, Colours and Salute many times. I think it's started to rub off!
