Today is Mbote Independence Day.

Those of you with long memories may recall this used to be on the 7th January but, having consulted with his spiritual advisor, Rev Dr Bhad Juju, President For Life General Papi Mpongo has moved the celebrations forward to a more auspicious date.
The grateful people praise the wisdom of President Mpongo!
