I realised today that, given the likelihood of further losses for the Royal Navy, I might actually run out of ships. So, in a rare moment of decisiveness, I decided to push the Cruel Seas minesweeper to one side and swiftly paint some more of the 1/3000th Navwar models instead. I'd already based these but took the opportunity to tidy up the texturing around the hulls, to avoid the problems I had with the last lot. So, here we have two County class guided missile destroyers to take on the Tu-16's, two Leander class frigates to hunt down those Whisky class subs and two Daring class destroyers for the RAN, to put the proverbial wind up those Skory class destroyers. I also did the conversion job to the spare model, so can now hunt the KRI Irian with an A class submarine. I'll paint these up over the next couple of days.
This Indonesian Emergency thing seems to be escalating. About time too if you ask me.
ReplyDeleteIt's all going to kick off pretty soon!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting, I am enjoying this project!
ReplyDeleteI'm aiming for about ten scenarios overall, so there's plenty more action on the way.
