Technical Extras

I found a wheel less diecast truck in the bits box yesterday, so thought I'd turn it into yet another militia technical. I found some suitable wheels from a couple of old toy cars, cut them off and super glued them onto the truck body, then added a plastic card load bed. 

The only thing I had left as a weapon was a heavy mortar, so that was glued in place and some mortar crew, ammo boxes and barrels added to fill up the gaps. I now have four of these old Maisto Saviem trucks, which makes a nice self contained militia technical unit, with some useful firepower. I'm going to start painting them this week.
