The latest edition of Rory Crabb Games Naval Command is now available on Wargame Vault, which is excellent news and something I've been really looking forward to. The new edition comes in both a print friendly and glossy format, although visually there's little to distinguish between the two except for the page borders. The whole thing is presented and organised very well, as you can see from the printer friendly sample pages above. The core rules are only 45 pages long, however, so the printer shouldn't take too much of a hit even in colour. After a quick skim over, there are some changes to the rules but nothing radical in terms of the last iteration of the system, so it shouldn't be too difficult to adjust. I'll be aiming to get a game sorted as soon as I can, perhaps with my modern Chilean and Chinese forces or with the 1960's Royal Navy and Indonesians ships. Excellent!
