Finest Hour Painting Progress

I've made some good progress with the 1/600th scale Finest Hour project over the last couple of days, with the Hurricane painting done and the Bf-109's base coated, ready for painting when the RAF fighters are finished. I've kept it simple to avoid wasting time, so there are no fin flashes on the Hurricanes and the decals will just be roundels on the upper wings and fuselage sides, after which I'll tone down the shiny surfaces with some matt varnish.
