Parthian Cataphracts Completed

Thanks to *******  isolation, I have had some time free to wrap up the Parthian Cataphracts for Strength and Honour, along with a third early Imperial Roman Legion - Legio II Trainana. These took a little longer than I expected due to work and a packed weekend but they are now done and I can move onto the four horse archer units that will be the core of the Parthian army. I was tempted to try to add some kontos with brush bristles, following a suggestion from Mark B. but sanity prevailed and I have left them without lances. I did paint tiddly little legs on the horses though!

  1. Looking great! I’m rethinking my 3D base sizes now …. I’ve a perfectly good battle mat with 100mm squares pre-printed on it. If I use my imagination and assume each 100mm square is actually 4 x 50mm squares I could use it with 80x60mm (legion) bases and 80x45 mm (everything else) so I’m going to redesign some example units and give them a try😃

  2. That's a great idea..I don't think base or grid sizes make any difference in the rules, from what I gather, so it makes a lot of sense.
