AK47 Republic 400!

Believe it or not this is my 400th post for AK47, give or take one or two I forgot to label right at the start of the blog! The very first post was way back on the 17th December 2009, when I did a re-cap of the games that I'd been playing at the club, in a little two player mini-campaign that was really enjoyable and helped to kick start my fascination with the rules:

Jim's Wargames Workbench: The Big Result! (jimswargamesworkbench.blogspot.com)

Since then I've built two more armies, sold my original one and played numerous games both at the club and at home against my son, who also really enjoys a game or two when he's home from university (he was only seven when I started blogging and he's now almost twenty!). It's been a lot of fun and I'm hoping it will continue for another thirteen years or more, especially now the AK47 Facebook group seems to have stirred up some renewed interest in the rules.

Incidentally, there are now 84 members signed up in little more than one week, but plenty of room for more if you are new to the rules or a former AK47 player with some old armies gathering dust in a cupboard that could do with a bit of fresh air and exercise! You can find out more here:
