It's not long until International Naval Wargaming Day, so I've been thinking about a game to play while I'm on holiday. I've decided to run a scenario based on the battle of Iquique at the start of the War of the Pacific, as I have all of the Chilean and Peruvian ships required and a good set of rules to use in Dahlgren and Columbiad, which I have used for my previous games. I just need to work out the scenario briefings and objectives, then get it all ready to go. It's a frenetic action with lots of unexpected events, so it will be a challenge to replicate but it a lot of fun too.
