I played the first two and a half turns of the delayed INWarD 2022 game this afternoon but had to up sticks when the table was required for dinner. The Royal Navy seem to have come off worse up to this point, a bit to my surprise, while the Marine Nationale is doing a pretty good job of extricating itself from a tricky situation. Zut Alors!
The third division of the French line has taken a bit of a battering but the Royal Navy second division has definitely been given a good dusting too. It's all about to kick off between the French second division and the British first division in the next turn, so shot and shell will be flying in opposite directions and there may well be a spot of ramming too. I'll get the game finished tomorrow.
