Knights of the Sky 1918 DH9a

The next
Knights of the Sky WW1 club multiplayer isn't until some point in June but I am going to build a kit for it this month so that I can try out a new aircraft for the game. After a bit of dithering, I've picked a DH9a 'Nine Ack' kit by Maquette, which fits the late 1918 timeframe well and also ties in with the scenario, a recce mission over the front lines at the end of the war. The kit is pretty robust, to put it politely, but shouldn't be too difficult to assemble, despite the photocopied instructions and minimal explanation. I've undercoated all the sprues with primer so just need some peace and quiet to get on with it!

  1. One of my favourite late/post-WW1 aircraft. Useful for any Back of Beyond scenarios too since they were heavily used by the RAF in Iraq, and Soviet Russia had a knock-off version which saw lots of service.
