Welcome to my blog. I have upwards of 100 projects in various stages of incompletion or total abandonment, so you may well find something of interest if you rummage about a bit. I concentrate on solo air and naval wargaming but other 'skirmishy' things quite often pop up out of nowhere, only to disappear again after something else grabs my attention. I even finish the occasional project now and again!

A Whiff of Grapeshot
I'm not a massive Napoleonic fan but this looks pretty good. Even the other half is interested in going to see it, which is unusual, but then she's French so there's a bit of an excuse!
It's a Ridley Scott film, so it should look magnificent. My hopes for the history are much lower. Gladiator was fun but historical tosh. Joaquin Phoenix, while a decent actor is far too old. Napoleon was only 45 at Waterloo and still mid twenties when firing the eponymous whiff of grapeshot. It will be interesting to see if the mob he fires on are portrayed as the Royalists they were too.
