Chilean and Argentinian Squadrons

Argentinian Squadron

Chilean Squadron

The two opposing squadrons for the solo naval mini-campaign are constrained by what I have available, which in turn is limited by the models in the Tumbling Dice 1/2400th scale range. While I would ideally want a wider range of models, especially cruisers, torpedo boats and merchant ships, this is what I have to use for the campaign:

Chile

Battleships - Capitan Prat, O'Higgins

Protected Cruiser - Ministro Zenteno

Torpedo Cruisers - Almirante Condell, Almirante Lynch

Argentina

Armoured Cruisers - General Belgrano, Puyereddon, Garibaldi, San Martin

Protected Cruiser - Nueve de Julio

Obviously, this limits the scope of any scenarios but is sufficient given the fact this is an 'incident' rather than a full blown naval war. The good news is that I have more reinforcements on the workbench at home, should I want to extend the campaign later on.

  1. The Archie fleet looks great lined up. Certainly enough on both sides for a few scenarios. Do you have transports and torpedo craft on the workbench?

  3. These look great Jim! Do you have a list of the TD codes you’re using from ranges other than the Minor Navies one? Interested in getting some ships myself including the smaller torpedo boats etc.

  4. These look great Jim! Do you know which codes you bought from TD other than the specific Argentine and Chilean ships?

  6. Nice starting forces. What additional ships do you have that you might add?

    1. I had a proxy model of the Chacabuco but left it at home as I'm replacing it with the new model from TD. I also have some Argentinian torpedo boats, coastal battleships and river monitors being painted, I have the 1884 Esmeralda for the Chileans but that's as far as the TD range streches.
