The new third edition of Setting the East Ablaze is to be published later this year and once again, to my pleasant surprise, it features my scratch built armoured train on the front cover. I've owned a copy of the second edition since it came out but have never tried the rules, mainly because it's a bit of a niche interest at the club, so I'll have to get a copy of the new edition to see if I can persuade someone to try it out as an alternative to Contemptible Little Armies. In fact, I really should paint a third army for the Back of Beyond to go with it, or maybe build another armoured train for my Bolsheviks?
