I've arranged a play test session at the club for next week now that I have half of the scenarios drafted, so need to get the other half written up and perhaps add a couple more in case some are no good. I also need to get the required aircraft built and based then undercoated, as I don't have time to paint them.
One scenario I'd like to try out is maritime strike on four Italian destroyers by three waves of Fairey Swotdfish flying off HMS Eagle, which is a bit different and could be really good fun. On 2 April 1941 four Italian destroyers, attempting to escape from Massawa, were attacked at sea by the Swordfish. The Nazario Sauro and Daniele Mani were sunk in dive-bombing attacks. I've written the draft for this scenario and just need to hammer it out in WORD, draw up the record sheets, bodge up some simple cards and glue the stringbags together, then I'm good to go.
