I've got a fair few relevant books for my East Africa Bag the Hun project but thought this might be useful. It sums up the campaign very well, as these two aircraft were at the forefront of many aerial dogfights, with the CR.32 and Hurricane the other principal fighters deployed in the theatre. I'm hoping it will have some useful after action report details that I can cross reference with my notes for that additional layer of accuracy and authenticity.

ReplyDeleteYears ago a gaming mate of mine and I decided to try a scenario consisting of a pair of Gladiators escorting a Swordfish attached by a brace of CR42s. This was using the old Battleline boardgame Air Force with the Expansion kit. It was great fun fighting a WW2 air action using biplanes!
Because we could is the only defence I have!
