A lot of the scenarios I'm writing for the Bag the Hun East Africa project involve the South African Air Force, in fact most of them feature No.1 Squadron SAAF in Gloster Gladiators and later Hawker Hurricanes. This video is a really interesting overview of the role played by the SAAF in the conflict and well worth ten minutes of your time, despite the dodgy computer game graphics.
