I have a naval game at the club on Tuesday for which I'll be using Find, Fix and Strike, with the aim of packing in two back-to-back games, one the Battle of the Denmark Straits and the other the Battle of the River Plate. I've played the former a few times before and have a good scenario set up for it, but I will have to borrow a scenario for the River Plate and tweak it to fit the rules, which shouldn't be too much of a job. The other player is new to naval wargaming apart from some Cruel Seas action, so I'm hoping that the fast-play nature of the rules and straightforward gunnery will be a good introduction
You could potentially run two versions of the Battle of the River Plate. The first one with the actual ships involved in December 1939 and the second one using the ships that appeared in the movie. This would give a run out for USS Salem in the guise of Graf Spee.
