This was only £5.99 in the local Oxfam charity bookshop today. It's absolutely brilliant and packed full of line drawings, diagrams and photos, as well as an invaluable explanatory text. I'm extremely pleased to have this one added to my ironclad and pre-dreadnought reference library, as it is outstanding, especially as a source of scale drawings for scratch building. Excellent!
That's a great find at that price. It's still a useful trove of information that I refer to from time to time. Last time was to see what funnel bands were used on pre-dreadnought battleships and armoured cruisers.
