I've got the dreaded end of term man flu and feel like death warmed up, so cheered myself up with a discounted starter set for the new second edition of The Barons War rules. This wasn't something I had thought of before but it was a good deal and the rules reviews are pretty solid, so why not? I quite like the idea of doing something a bit earlier than the Hundred Years War or War of the Roses, which fits this set of rules very well.
