It doesn't look like much but the Chilean Interwar fleet has now been based and undercoated in matt black, ready for the bases to be blocked in tomorrow. I've also added an oil tanker to the line up using a Japanese tanker that is not too far off the actual Chilean fleet oiler Rancagua.
Interesting fleet.

ReplyDeleteI painted up everything* for Italys Regia Marina in 1/2400 during the winter, manily to use with Nimitz in lieu of a chunkier rulessystem at the moment. Saw this and it makes me inspired to start on the (mainly) Commonwealth forces involved in the mediterranian.
*just ~20 of the destroyers. All other named ships are done. Still need to design plaques and after gluing them in place, varnish the fleet.
I have most of the Italian and French fleets for 1938-39 for the sane sort of thing but using Find, Fix and Strike
