Pirate Crew [3]

I managed to grab some time this evening to get some more painting underway with the Pirates. However, I struggled to sort out the flesh highlights, having forgotten to basecoat in GW Dark Flesh as usual. The end result is OK but not up to my usual, less than impressive, standard.

I was quite pleased with the two black figures though and will use the same Foundry Bay Brown shades again, especially if I ever get round to tackling the long overdue Darkest Africa project.

I've also started to paint some of the clothes, with some Foundry Sky Blue as the starting point. I'm planning to keep things fairly toned down so this will be one of the few bold colours that'll be used. It should make for a nice contrast.
