I've been sorting out the bases for the Indonesian Confrontation RN task force over the last day or so, having decided to base then paint them, which is my usual method, rather than the other way round. I did a little bit of surgery on HMS Eagle, replacing the radar mast with one from a miscast Salisbury class frigate, which I think has improved it. I have some 1/600th scale aircraft to prepare and magnet base now, before I can crack on to the painting stage.
