I had a trip to sunny Cardiff today with the sprogs, ostensibly to check out the university open day but obviously with an ulterior motive, a bit of model shopping and second hand book buying, as you do. No luck with the books but the plastic kit model pile now has a couple of additional kits, a Rubicon M13/40 and Valentine, both destined for the Western Desert with Chain of Command in mind. These are lovely if rather fiddly kits, scaling very well with the Perry Miniatures Eighth Army and DAK plastic figures (which I have surplus from my long abandoned Malaya project). A nice addition to the set up, whenever I eventually get round to it!
