On Campaign

 

I like wargaming campaigns and umpired at least half a dozen over the years at my local club. Unfortunately, it has been increasingly difficult to get players to get involved, so I haven't set one up for over a decade now, especially as there aren't enough people with armies for the rules that I enjoy playing myself. I'm thinking of doing something to kick-start a club campaign again, partly inspired by Henry Hyde's campaign book which I bought a while back, so will be reading it properly over the holidays. At the moment, I'm thinking of a possible Strength and Honour or AK47 mini campaign with a small cohort of players, but it's all a bit open to suggestions. If it doesn't happen, at least I might have the impetus to run a solo campaign of my own!
