The Napoleonic Sourcebook

I had my weekly browse in the Oxfam bookshop after work yesterday and picked up a hardback copy of The Naopeonic Sourcebook by Philip Haythornthwaite. I have his books on the ACW and ECW but have now filled a gap in the bookshelf, which has a marked lack of Napoleonic source material.

I spent a very pleasant hour skim reading through it while the boys were doing their judo lesson yesterday evening and, as expected, it's a mine of interesting information. It only cost me a fiver as well, with the money goign to a very good cause in the process. Huzzah!

  1. Fantastic book, it is great on the minor nations and was my bible when writing Flintloque! :-)
