I've added the casemate to the hull that I carved earlier in the week and have also cannibalized the masts and sails from a spare Tumbling Dice model of Gloire, as it saved me a lot of time and hassle. It also means that the scratch built ironclad will look right next to my other Tumbling Dice warships, which is a bonus. The masts are blu-tacked in place but I will superglue it all together once I've added some details to the deck and added a funnel. I'm hoping that I will get it all finished by the end of the day? Allez!
