I worked out yesterday a list of things I'd need to do to get the S Boat Strike game ready for the Lard Day on time. This was a sobering exercise and I realised that I'd be really pushing my luck to get it all done in time, especially the painting bit. As a result, I've decided to be sensible and fall back on my Plan B, which is to run a slightly expanded version of the 'Special Delivery' scenario based in Malta in December 1941. I have all the models painted for this game, although I will have a go at detailing the Italian Mc202's with some additional decals, so all I need to do is scale it up a bit for four players and produce the relevant cards, players briefings and aircraft record sheets.
