French Fleet Re-Basing Wrapped Up

It's the end of the half term holidays and I have just completed the last bit of the re-basing of my 1/3000th scale WW2 French fleet, with the heavy cruisers being the last in the queue. Ironically enough, these came out looking the best of the bunch, now that I've worked out the method for texturing and painting the sea effect, so that it doesn't look too over the top.

If you compare the battleship bases with the heavy cruisers and destroyers, you can see the difference but it's not too extreme for them to sit side by side. That's a good job done but I now need to get some adhesive backed metal sheet for the storage box, so that they all stay firmly magnetically attached and don't slide around all over the place. Oh, and an Italian fleet to put them up against!
