1/2400th USS Wyandotte Conversion

USS Wyandotte

USS Ajax and USS Wyandotte

The Monitors

The Screw and Paddle flotilla

I had one more Tumbling Dice USS Dictator model left, so I've chopped it about to make a second Canonicus class monitor for the US North Atlantic Squadron. It was originally supposed to be a Passaic class monitor but I mucked up the cutting and had to fix it with an off cut length of hull sandwiched between the bows and stern sections. This meant it was too long for a Passaic but a better match for the USS Wyandotte, a Canonicus class monitor attached to the squadron in the mid 1870's. I'll start painting this lot at the weekend once the Lard Day event is out of the way.
