Jasmund 1864 - Scenario Play Test

This is my third attempt at a write up of the Broadside and Ram game I played the other day, the last two having failed to save properly despite being saved along the way. To keep it simple, I've produced a map of the game showing what happened. The Danes won a minor victory having sunk the Nymphe and captured the Arcona but lost the Skjold in the process. The Loreley escaped, along with the gunboat squadron, although only due to the Thor and Heimdal breaking contact at the end of the game. The Arcona has been captured and Von Jachmann is a prisoner of war, so the Danish blockade is fully in effect despite his best efforts to challenge it. I enjoyed this game and, after a couple of tweaks, will do a replay as soon as I have painted up the models.

  1. Jim! Beautiful as always. I am tying to follow in your footsteps as you are the leading light for gaming this period. I want to ask you about you sea mat. I have looked around for it with no luck. It is the best looking ocean surface, in my opinion and I would like to have one. Where did you get it?

  2. Thanks Bruce,

The sea cloth is from Tinywargames. It's their standard blue sea one.
