I've just started a solo campaign of Corvette Command over on the other blog, which you may want to follow if you like that sort of thing. This is a free, print and play campaign system for convoy escort in the North Atlantic c1940-1943, with each game in the campaign enacting a single convoy passage from Halifax or St Johns to Liverpool, or the other way round depending where you start.
It's a really neat system and also completely free to download, either from the Facebook group or from Wargame Vault. It took a couple of hours to print, laminate and cut out the bits but after that you can easily set up a game in a minimal space and play it through at your leisure.
The first convoy mission I've started only got four sectors from Canada when it was attacked by a U-Boat wolfpack, so plenty of action already, with two tankers sunk but one Type VIIC forced to the surface by HMCS Windflower and scuttled by its crew.
Anyway, you can read all about it here:
Tea and a Wad Wargaming: Corvette Command Campaign January 1942 (1)
I've picked this up too and downloaded the VASSAL module (that way I don't have to print out anything). Looking forward to more log entries.
