Painting Progress 

I thought it would be interesting to see just how tiddly the 1/600th scale Tumbling Dice WW1 aircraft are, so I've taken some scale comparison photos next to some of my 1/72nd scale models, which I use for Knights of the Sky. As you can see, the answer is very small indeed, but that doesn't make them difficult to assemble or paint, much to my surprise. I've also been making some more progress with the current batch of models, including some individually decked out scouts that I'm painting up as lone aces in Red Baron style red. Tally Ho!

  1. They paint up very nicely. I'm finding them a bit fiddly to play with these days, though, and may have to look at a hex- or square-based game to get the most out of mine now.
