The latest addition to the Argentinian pre-dreadnought squadron, in this case an ironclad one, are the two coastal defence monitors, La Plata and Los Andes, from the 1/2400th scale Tumbling Dice Victorian range. These were in service in the 1890's despite being over twenty years old and obsolete, although they were in reserve and often disarmed. I will use them for river and coastal defence duties, assuming they would be reactivated in time of war, to deter Chilean commerce raiders in the River Plate. Why not?
